Artistic expression is a result of the urgency to comprehend the world, trying to express what we see and experience in a creative and bold way.
Kinetic art is no exception. It dates back to ancient times and has a long tradition of conferring movement to objects, transforming them into something else.

From observing the world and from our own life, of course, but also from looking at life and at one’s work from the eyes of major referents. I admire the classics: the genius of Leonardo DaVinci, his infinite curiosity and his unparalleled ability to translate an idea into an object, and the swiss Henri Maillardet, with his remarkable talent for transforming the impossible into one of a kind art pieces. These outstanding minds, along with artists from diverse disciplines, contribute constantly to my style and boost my creativity. Steampunk aesthetics, with its metal dominated objects that create atmospheres that feel both out of this world and yet somewhat familiar, is a constant source of inspiration and awe.

TO EXPLORE NEW IDEAS,
CONCEPTS AND NARRATIVES.
Every artist that I admire contributes to my craft. J.S. Bach’s compositional genius sets the pace of my creative process, and the music of Thom Yorke has a profound, personal impact on me. Salvador Dali’s world of beautiful madness pushes me out of my comfort zone. The delicacy and sensitivity of Hayao Mizayaki and Tim Burton inspire me to find humanity even in the most surreal scenarios. Art director and illustrator Oscar Chichoni, who’s also my countryman, encourages me to look beyond and take my art to new audiences and sensibilities. I learn constantly, and I’m committed to continuous artistic growth.
LEARNING AND ARTISTIC GROWTH
IS AN ALWAYS EVOLVING JOURNEY.
Exploring new ideas, themes and narratives sets me in motion. Constant innovation and transformation lie at the very core of kinetic art, interpelling the person that interacts with the piece through something unique, yet relatable.
